RMASFAA CFAA® Certification Course Registration Information
RMASFAA is offering several opportunities for in-person workshops throughout the region, often adjacent to state conferences to help limit travel, but you not have to be a resident of the state the workshop is being held in or a member of that state's association. Any workshop is available for you to attend as best meets your schedule and proximity.
Join us May 5th in Crested Butte, CO for an in-person course to help you prepare for NASFAA's Certified Financial Aid Administrator® (CFAA) Program knowledge exam, increasing your likelihood of success. During this workshop, we will use a suite of workshop materials already prepared for you by a team of knowledgeable financial aid administrators who hold the FAAC® designation. You will leave the workshop with greater confidence in your knowledge, expectations of what to expect on exam, and readiness to take it.

Nestled slope-side at the base of Mt. Crested Butte, the 59th annual conference will be hosted at the Elevation Hotel & Spa in Crested Butte, Colorado, May 6th - 8th. The resort blends mountain charm with contemporary urban design for a star-studded experience. The conference location even provides 8,900 out of the 330,000 feet needed to reach space.
Join us on Thursday, May 28, from 1:00-2:00 pm MDT/2:00-3:00 pm CDT for the Training Committee's third RMASFAA Roundtable: Ghost Regs & Ghost Students. We will discuss those final OB3 regs (hopefully!!) that have been shadowy until now, and see how ED's new FAFSA real-time identity fraud measures that are set to go live April 26 are working to detect and prevent ghost students on your campuses.
These Roundtables are a chat and networking event for RMASFAA members to discuss hot topics with their peers. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!
